DESCRIPTION This enamel lapel pin represents the Davis Host Lions Club of Davis, California, famously recognized as the Bicycle Capital of the USA. The design features a stylized lion operating a penny-farthing or high-wheel bicycle. The base is finished in a vibrant green enamel with gold-tone lettering. The front wheel includes the designation for District 4-C5. This is a classic piece of fraternal organization memorabilia originating from the 1980s, highlighting local regional pride and the civic history of the Lions International organization. SIZE The pin measures approximately 1.5 inches in width by 1.5 inches in height. CONDITION The pin is in good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. The enamel remains intact with bright coloring and the gold-tone plating shows minimal tarnishing. The clutch back is secure and functions as intended. Please see photos for details and ask with any questions. Thanks!
