A sweet and authentic piece of mid-century Taxco silver! This is a charming vintage sterling silver figural brooch by a Taxco artisan (possibly C. Zurita). The pin features a whimsical silhouette of a donkey, burro, or fawn, crafted from solid .925 sterling silver. The body of the little animal is inlaid with a piece of iridescent abalone shell. The silver has a deep, untouched vintage patina that gives it wonderful character. This is a small, delicate piece, perfect for adorning a collar, lapel, tie, or hat.
