This is a rice cooker that cooks rice using steam. Purchased in June 2025, it has been used twice on a home stovetop. The box and instruction manual are included, and the main unit is in beautiful condition with almost no scratches, but there are signs of use on the stainless steel as shown in the last two photos. This is a used item, so we appreciate your understanding. --- Product Description --- ■ Materials/Ingredients Outer pot/Inner pot: Stainless steel (18% chromium) Outer pot surface treatment: Fluoropolymer coating Lid knob: Phenolic resin Lid: Stainless steel (Bottom thickness: 0.7mm) ■ Size (approx.): With lid and inner pot set / 20.4 (handle side) x 15.8 x height 11.7cm, Inner pot / Inner diameter φ12.3cm x depth 6cm, Height excluding lid / 10cm ■ Full water capacity: Outer pot 2.0L, Inner pot 0.7L ■ Weight: Approx. 790g ■ Country of manufacture: Japan ■ Direct flame: Yes, IH: Yes, Microwave: No, Oven: No, Dishwasher: △ (Inner pot only) , Chlorine bleach: No *Dishwasher can only be used for the inner pot (outer pot and lid cannot be used). Dish dryer cannot be used for any parts. ■ Rice washing method 1. Place the rice in the inner pot and slowly add water to about 80% full. *If the water flow is too strong, the rice may spill out. 2. Rotate the lid 45 degrees, hold it firmly, and drain the water through the steam holes. *Repeat about twice. 3. Add water to the inner pot to about 80% full, shake it up and down quickly about 10 times, and drain the water through the steam holes. *Repeat about twice. *If you drain the water while rice grains are stuck near the steam holes, the rice grains may flow out. After draining, before opening the lid, shake it up and down quickly 1-2 times as in step 3. This will cause the rice grains stuck to the underside of the lid to fall off, preventing rice grains from sticking to the steam hole surface. 4. Add water to the inner pot up to the marked line according to the amount of rice. *Adjust the water level to your preference. Cannot cook more than 1.5 go. 5. Let it soak for about 30 minutes. *Soaking for a longer time in the refrigerator will result in even more delicious rice. ■ Rice cooking method 1. Add 400cc to 500cc of water to the outer pot. (Filling to the water line is approximately 400cc) 2. Place the inner pot in the outer pot and close the lid. 3. Heat over low to medium heat for 20 minutes. Heat over medium heat or lower (on IH, about 4 out of 10 levels is a guideline). 4. Turn off the heat, let it steam for 10 minutes, and it's ready. Do not open the lid during the steaming process.
