Listing Title Rare Vintage Ronald Reagan Governor Metallic Seal Wooden PermaPlaque Gift Category Home / Accents / Plaques & Signs (or Vintage & Collectibles / Historical Memorabilia if using a desktop browser) Description Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-quality piece of 20th-century American political history. This is an authentic, vintage holiday greeting plaque from the tenure of Governor Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan (California, 1967–1975). ✨ The Front: Features a gorgeous, thick raised gold metallic foil/medallion embossment of the Great Seal of the State of California. Underneath, an elegant red script reads: May the blessings of the Season be with you today and always. Governor and Mrs. Ronald Reagan. 🪵 The Build & Origin: This card was professionally preserved using the highly sought-after PermaPlaque laminating process out of Hollywood, CA, and finished by the elite House of Frames in Sherman Oaks, CA. The original vintage labels, instructions, and maker marks are fully intact and clear on the reverse wood side (see photos). 🌵 The History: This piece was acquired locally in the Palm Springs desert at the estate/neighborhood liquidation sale hosted by the President Gerald R. Ford family at their longtime residence in Rancho Mirage, California. It was produced as a restricted-run, high-level executive gift sent in December 1974 from Governor Reagan directly to sitting United States President Gerald R. Ford at the White House.
