This is the Mashikaku 3-dan (Square 3-tier) bento box from Ojirō Kakumono Ten in Oita. Size: 15×15×h23 (h29 including handle) cm Original price: ¥45,000 It has been used only a little, but the signs of use are barely noticeable. There is a small crack in the bamboo on one spot on the lid. However, it is a beautiful item that is almost unused. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for such an item. .....About Ojirō Kakumono Ten..... Studied the craft of kakumono (square bamboo containers) under the master craftsman Kazuyoshi Kanchiku. Began producing under the name Ojirō Kakumono Ten in 2008. They focus on creating simple, square bamboo baskets called kakumono, using madake bamboo, and crafting items they themselves want to own and use. The shop is run by a husband and wife: Masa, who loves square shapes, and Miho, who excels at creating rounded items and other crafts besides kakumono. ○What is Kakumono?.....Square baskets made of bamboo. ーーーーーーーー ・GRANPIE ・casica ・HYST ・antiques tamiser ・swimsuits department ・Essential Store ・dieci ・PACIFIC FURNITURE SERVICE ・The Japan Folk Crafts Museum ・Oedo Antique Market ・Heian Flea Market ・Tokyo Flea Market #Antique items #Antique tools #Folk crafts #Antiques #Vintage Ko-Imari / Kutani / Bizen / Sometsuke / Soba Choko (buckwheat cup) / Ko-Imari / Kakiemon / Arita ware / Mashiko ware / Ryukyu Akae / Kiyomizu ware / Kasama ware / Yi Dynasty / Goryeo Dynasty / Tea ceremony utensils / Antique items / Antiques / Vintage / Antique items / Antique tools / Folk crafts Kanjiro Kawai / Shoji Hamada / Sōetsu Yanagi Ryuji Mitani / Akito Akagi / Midori Takahashi / Yoshifumi Nakamura Click here for the manufacturer's site
