This is an old Thomson guitar. I believe it's a model from the 1970s. I've kept it as part of my collection, but I'm selling it because I have too many guitars and am having trouble securing storage space. The look, weight balance, and thick neck shape give it that classic Japanese bizarre guitar vibe, and its sound, while rustic as expected from its appearance, is surprisingly deep and not to be underestimated. I highly recommend plugging it into a small tube amp and giving it a try. The movement of the tuning pegs is a bit stiff, which is to be expected from old Japanese pegs, but the body's gloss is beautifully preserved, the neck is in good condition, and the string height is set low. (The truss rod has not been adjusted since I acquired it.) Currently, it's strung with Ernie Ball 10-46 gauge strings. There is some rust on the metal parts, but the parts have not been replaced, and considering its age, the overall condition is quite good. This guitar is recommended for bizarre guitar enthusiasts or those looking for a unique instrument. *The hard case shown in the photos is not included. Click here for the manufacturer's site
