☆Masuya Takao☆ Nenkin Tsuzure Nishiki Flexible All-Over Patterned Fukuro Obi (Two-Piece Attached Obi) Elegant and Subtle Sparkle This is a two-piece attached obi featuring a beautiful, flexible, and elegant Nenkin Tsuzure Nishiki all-over patterned fukuro obi by Masuya Takao. Hiroshi Takao of Masuya Takao researched ancient dyeing and weaving techniques and studied under Kikujiro Takao of Orietsu and Takeshi Horie of Rakufurin. This obi has been carefully preserved and worn only a few times, so it shows little wear and is a beautiful item with no significant damage. The touch is incredibly supple, and because it is a light obi, it puts little strain on the body and is very easy to tie. It has a three-dimensional texture like that of紬 (tsumugi silk), and the various shades and gradations give it depth and richness, with the indescribable texture of hand-weaving also being a charm. With a refined and elegant sparkle, it is not flashy but has a chic and sophisticated atmosphere. It can be worn with a variety of colors and patterns, from plain-colored kimonos, making it a versatile piece. The body-wrapping part of this obi is not sewn at the top, so you can adjust the width when you wear it. You can also decide the size of the otaiko (the back part of the obi) yourself, and adjust the position of the pattern as you like each time. Compared to obis where the otaiko is already made, the shape of the otaiko appears more naturally plump, resulting in a softer appearance. There may be some oversights, but we hope that those who appreciate it as an item that has been in someone's hands will enjoy it.
