This is a beautiful, meticulously crafted vintage patchwork quilt featuring an intricate geometric star pattern in a patriotic red, white, and blue Americana color palette. This piece is 100% handmade and entirely hand-quilted (not machine-stitched), showcasing phenomenal artisan craftsmanship with beautiful structural stitches following the contours of the central design. The solid red backing features a lovely personalized embroidered corner signature reading Aunt Mattie 1998 paired with a textured heart icon. Measuring 36 inches by 36 inches, this square textile is uniquely versatile. It serves beautifully as a cozy heirloom crib/baby blanket, a decorative table topper, or a vibrant folk art wall hanging to anchor a cottagecore, farmhouse, or traditional room display. Excellent vintage/pristine condition. This quilt has been exceptionally well-cared for over the years. There are absolutely no split seams, loose fabric patches, stains, holes, structural wear, or odors. Comes from a clean, smoke-free environment. Authentic folk-art hand quilting. Vibrant red, white, blue, and gold patterned fabrics. Double-sided visual appeal front pattern vs. stitched red backing texture. Signed and dated by the maker (Aunt Mattie 1998)
