Thank you for viewing. I purchased this used about 5 years ago on this site for around 36,000 yen. I used it for a few years, but I've been doing more hand-sewing and no longer use it, so I'm putting it up for sale. It was working without any issues until recently. Everything shown in the photos is included. For instructions on how to use it, please download and refer to the manual for the HA-1 model sewing machine from the Axeman Yamazaki or Janome websites. This is a popular model among Janome sewing machines. [Exterior] There are some signs of rust in places, but the overall exterior is clean. It's Janome's slightly rugged, most popular design. [Operation] No operational issues. Hand-crank modified sewing machine. [Needles] Industrial DB needles [Specifications] Hand-crank modified sewing machine, vertical half-rotary hook (domestic use) [Stitch Types] Straight stitch only. Reverse stitch possible. [Other] Suitable for regular fabrics (◎), thick materials (◎). Leathercraft (◎) - can use #00 upper thread and #0 lower thread. Can use #25 needle (needle eye has been enlarged). [Modifications] Enlarged needle eye, upper thread pre-tension installed (photo 9), hand-crank handle installed, stop motion disengaged (prevents free spinning), etc. Regarding stitches, it has a good stitch width, and with #00 upper thread and #0 lower thread, it can sew leather up to 6mm thick. It is suitable for leathercraft. As this is a hand-crank modified item, by sewing each stitch carefully, you can achieve beautiful results comparable to advanced users. *As this is a used item, we would prefer it to be purchased by someone who can repair or perform some maintenance themselves, or who is willing to try maintaining it. Also, as this is a modified sewing machine, its usage may not be exactly the same as a standard HA sewing machine. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about such matters.
