Add classical elegance to your space with this vintage Athena and Pegasus framed porcelain bas-relief plaque. Masterfully sculpted by renowned artist George McMonigle for the Franklin Mint, this piece beautifully captures Greek mythology with fine white Parian-style porcelain figures over a matte sky-blue background. The artwork comes housed in its original gold-gilded wooden frame with a textured fabric mat border. Please note the condition details below, as this piece has a visible crack but still displays beautifully. Condition Description (Please Read) Porcelain Plaque: There is a visible crack running across the blue porcelain background that extends into the white tree trunk on the right side. Crucially, the main figures of Athena and Pegasus are entirely untouched and intact. The crisp, high-relief details of the central figures remain flawless without chips or breaks.Frame & Matting: The original gold-gilded frame is structurally sound with minor vintage scuffs and age wear. The canvas matting shows light age-related toning.Note: Being sold As-Is due to the background crack. Please review all photos closely before purchasing.
