【Product Description】 Operation confirmed. This is a beautiful condition Emagic amt8, an 8-port USB MIDI interface. It is unlikely you will find another one with this many accessories still remaining. The box has some tears and one cable is discolored due to age, so it is listed as slightly scratched or dirty. However, two cables are unused and new, and the unit itself is in beautiful condition, in my subjective opinion. It has never been used in an external studio or similar environment. This is a professional-grade device with a 1U rackmount chassis, featuring 8 MIDI inputs and 8 MIDI outputs (128 channels total). It is highly suitable for managing multiple hardware synthesizers, sound modules, and drum machines simultaneously. Emagic is now part of Apple, and this unit is known for its excellent compatibility with the Logic series, making it a renowned piece of equipment. In addition to USB connectivity, it also has legacy serial ports (RS-232/RS-422), making it useful for building vintage production environments. 【Product Condition】 Operation: Tested by transferring preset data to a MIDI sound source and an external synthesizer (Yamaha FM7). It is operating normally. Exterior: Aside from cable sun damage due to age, tears in the box, and the included paper, the unit is in beautiful condition, in my subjective opinion. Accessories: All accessories are included except for the user registration postcard. It has been used with care and is in working order. However, as this is vintage equipment, we recommend it to those who can build their own environment and utilize it. 【Recommended Points】 The impressive 8-input/8-output port count is essential for music production styles that heavily utilize hardware. This is a rare model that is difficult to obtain nowadays, and it is an attractive unit for creators, especially those who want to synchronize multiple external sound sources, as it helps to keep your desk area tidy. Recommended for those building an environment with hardware equipment seeking the sound of that era. Some knowledge is required, but it is recommended. Click here for the manufacturer's site
