This is the FMR Audio / RNC1773(E) compressor. It was purchased new several years ago and has only been used a few times. It is in fully working condition. There are some minor scratches, but it has only been used in a non-smoking home environment, so I believe it is in beautiful condition. The only accessory included is the power adapter. Below is a description from the distributor. -------------------------------------------------- A full-control, stereo compressor that completely preserves the original sound. The RNC1773 (Really Nice Compressor) features two different compression modes. One is the Normal mode with a peak detector, which provides very standard compressor operation. The other is the Super Nice mode, which achieves ultra-smooth compression that completely preserves the attack, by layering three compressors. Its capabilities are so impressive that it is used as a secret weapon in renowned professional studios. This is an all-purpose compressor (at an unbelievable price) suitable for everything from tracking to mastering. The E version is available as a Japan Limited Model! FMR Audio RNC1773(E) Compressor: An alternative version of the RNC1773 with special tuning. The operational amplifiers used in the internal analog circuits have been upgraded to high-quality, low-distortion components. The RNC1773's signal path is very simple, consisting only of the VCA IC, operational amplifiers, and passive components like resistors and capacitors, so the effect is significant. Comparing the performance of the operational amplifiers alone, the THD+N value is 1/20th of the conventional product! (0.0006% → 0.00003%). This ultimate low distortion results in high resolution, excellent reproduction of initial reflections and the decay of sound, allowing you to hear sounds that are only audible with this unit, creating a thrilling sense of realism.
