Create beautiful traditional Scandinavian pastries with this vintage cast aluminum Rosette (Timbale) iron. It dates to roughly the 1940s1960s, making it attractive to both vintage kitchen collectors and home bakers looking for older, sturdier utensils. This classic baking tool features a fluted cast aluminum mold attached to a sturdy metal shaft with a comfortable black turned wooden handle. Rosette irons are heated in hot oil, dipped into a thin batter, and returned to the oil to create crisp, delicate pastries that are traditionally dusted with powdered sugar. This example has an attractive scalloped floral design and would make an excellent addition to a vintage kitchen utensil collection or for anyone who enjoys making traditional holiday pastries. Features: * Vintage rosette/timbale pastry iron * Cast aluminum fluted mold * Black turned wooden handle * Metal shaft * Approximately 10 inches long * Mold measures approximately 2¾ inches across (verify if desired) * Unmarked Perfect for: * Scandinavian baking * Holiday baking traditions * Vintage kitchen utensil collections * Farmhouse kitchen décor * Primitive kitchen displays Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the item's description and condition.
