AIWA Stereo Radio Cassette Recorder Rare 1974 Promo Large B1 Poster AIWA Sound is My Friend First in Japan to develop a cassette recorder As the copy states, this is a highly impactful promotional poster from 1974 by AIWA Co., Ltd., the company that achieved the great feat of being the first in Japan to develop a cassette tape recorder. The poster proudly celebrates their achievement with a catchy slogan and features an eye-catching design of the Moai statues from Easter Island. The stereo radio cassette recorder in the lower right corner of the poster appears to be the TPR-801. Published in 1974 by AIWA Co., Ltd. This is an extremely rare, non-sale item from over 50 years ago. The poster is a used item. As it was displayed with pins, there are pinholes in the plus-shaped areas at the four corners of the poster. A tear near the center of the bottom edge has been repaired with cellophane tape. Additionally, the edges along all four sides have damage such as tears, creases, and folds. There are also stains on the back. Please refer to the photos. Size: Large B1 Width: Approx. 725 mm Height: Approx. 1,025 mm Considering it is a paper product from such a long time ago, I believe it is in relatively clean condition. However, due to its age, there are expected deteriorations and changes such as discoloration, fading, scuffs, and stains. Please understand that this is a long-term home storage item. Please forgive any minor dirt or scratches that may have been overlooked. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. #AIWA #StereoRadioCassetteRecorder #RadioCassetteRecorder #EasterIsland #Moai #CassetteTapeRecorder #SONY #BCL #Sony #Radio #ShortwaveRadio #skysenser #worldzone #SkySensor #WorldZone #ShowaRetro #Vintage #RadioAreaMap #B-Card #Poster Click here for the manufacturer's site
