YUM AUDIO LOFI – PITCH DROPOUT is a plugin that recreates the sudden tape fluctuations and pitch errors characteristic of analog tape. This plugin is recommended for LoFi Hip-Hop production, allowing you to add random fluctuations to simple phrases. Recommended for: When you want to incorporate the characteristic fluctuations of analog tape. To make song intros, breaks, and outros more impactful. To recreate the pitch variations unique to tape. Features & Key Functions: An effect plugin that adds fluctuations and pitch errors well-suited for genres like LoFi Hip-Hop. Adjust the intensity of pitch errors with the Amount dial. Equipped with 6 modes that simulate various dropout behaviors. The stereo dropout mode allows you to set independent dropouts for the left and right channels. Adjust the frequency at which dropouts are triggered. Manually trigger dropouts via automation. LOFI – PITCH DROPOUT is a pitch error recreation plugin that is useful when you want to express the sudden pitch fluctuations characteristic of tape. When a pitch error occurs, it can randomly generate natural-sounding fluctuations in pitch and tempo as the tape speeds up to catch up. The frequency of pitch errors can also be adjusted, allowing for a natural tape sound expression that doesn't feel artificial. While many tape plugins can express tape-like fluctuations, recreating sudden pitch errors often ends up sounding contrived. LOFI – PITCH DROPOUT specializes in recreating pitch errors, offering a wide range of fluctuation expressions and the ability to reproduce natural behavior, which is its appeal. There are few plugins specialized in creating natural pitch wavers and tempo shifts like LOFI – PITCH DROPOUT, so be sure to check it out if you want to create Lofi sounds with a more realistic tape texture.
