As someone involved in Japanese garment making (^.^) * This is an Ichigo Ichie original Han Jūban (vest). * The Han Jūban (vest) will be delivered with an embroidered lace eri (collar) and a simple erinuki (collar support) already attached, so you can wear it right away. * Some usotsuki jūban vests are made from a single width of muslin with no back seam. However, this Han Jūban has a back seam as it uses two widths of muslin for the back. * Eri (collar): A white base eri has been embellished with embroidered lace fabric and tailored into a new, single eri (lined). * Body fabric: Muslin * Eri (collar): Base white eri - Polyester Embroidered lace - Polyester * Lace: Musical note pattern lace * Tailored using both machine and hand sewing. * We hope you will enjoy the unique qualities that cannot be found in mass-produced items. * The eri is attached so that the collar will naturally fall back as much as possible when worn, and to create a beautiful collar line. * Please insert a collar stiffener when wearing. * The eri is removable. We recommend gently hand-washing the embroidered lace eri. After washing, please be careful when ironing the body fabric not to use high heat or iron directly on the lace. * (Ichigo Ichie original Han Jūban is made with muslin, color nice moss cotton fabric (a finer weave than muslin, supple and high-quality fabric), and lace, for a comfortable fit that conforms to the body. * We also accept custom orders where you can choose your lace for an additional ¥500~. * Depending on the purchase time, there may be slight variations in color and weave density for color nice moss and muslin. * For color nice moss, we recommend washing separately to prevent color transfer, just in case. * Each stitch is made with care, and we hope to assist you in enjoying a wonderful kimono life.)
