The following is a quote: The B-Plex Preamp combines 47 years of amplifier design experience with cutting-edge technology to provide the flexibility modern musicians need. At the heart of every Gallien-Krueger product is the active 4-band Variable Q equalizer and contour circuit, which set the standard for bass tone shaping over 30 years ago. Infused with years of proven GK technology, the B-Plex features a variety of filters that allow you to create your original bass tone. The Voice control also allows you to select the sound character of Gallien-Krueger's masterpieces such as the 800RB, Fusion550, MB800, and MB150. The foot-switchable compressor and overdrive allow your playing to seamlessly blend into the band or stand out without getting lost in the mix. It is also equipped with a convenient chromatic tuner with an easy-to-see LED display. It features standard jack outputs for connection to an amplifier or power amplifier, and DI outputs for sending to a PA or recording console. The AUX input and headphone output are ideal for quiet jamming along with your favorite songs. The USB input/output terminals also allow for digital recording and re-amping in conjunction with your favorite recording software. The controls with LEDs are highly visible even on a dark stage, and the heavy-duty chassis provides excellent stability when the foot switch is pressed. Click here for the manufacturer's site
