Thank you to everyone who used our products last year. We look forward to your continued patronage of the FLAP Roller Yaen. This is a Yaen that has been proven to catch fish. We arrived at this design after much trial and error! The FLAP Roller Yaen is specialized for catching fish. It is an ultra-lightweight, one-touch roller Yaen that has been simplified and stripped of unnecessary elements, focusing on ensuring a secure hook-up without causing discomfort to the squid. The roller is a straight Yaen with PTFE (fluoropolymer resin) tubing and a slave specification. It is my personal belief that the risk of line trouble due to unexpected splashing upon water entry, which is common with spring-loaded Yaen, makes the spring-loaded function unnecessary! If the weight balance is optimized, it will naturally head up upon arrival! In particular, my Yaen's FLAP receives water pressure, similar to an airplane wing, causing it to head up upon arrival. Of course, it will also head up when you set the hook. Furthermore, to accommodate 20cm sized horse mackerel, the distance from the first pivot to the tip is approximately 20cm, and the hook has been changed to L size. When the horse mackerel is held vertically, it is highly likely to hook in the mouth. The first pivot roller has a diameter of 2mm, so a Yaen stopper can also be used. During the trial production, several friends tested it and reported feeling hooked the moment it hit the water. While carefully crafted, please understand that there may be slight variations due to it being handmade. We strive to ship promptly upon receiving your order. We are unable to negotiate prices.
