Please read my profile for information about transactions and products. Unused pointe shoes, size 4.5. Regarding the size and other specifications, these pointe shoes were entrusted to me by a friend, so I'm not sure how to interpret them. For those who dance ballet, please check the images before purchasing. Thank you for looking. Information confirmed by AI: 1. 3/4 Shank This refers to the length of the shank (the stiffening material inside the sole) of the pointe shoes. Structure: A regular shank extends to the heel, but a 3/4 shank only extends to about three-quarters of the way to the heel. Benefits: Because there is less resistance from the heel area, the arch of the foot appears more beautiful, and it becomes easier to achieve a high arch. It also makes movements through demi-pointe (the intermediate stage of rising onto pointe) smoother. Suitability: Often preferred by dancers with strong feet, as well as professionals and advanced dancers seeking a higher level of fit. 2. S = Soft S indicates the stiffness of the shank, generally meaning Soft. Combination of 3/4S: This means the specification is 3/4 length and a soft shank. Regarding pointe shoe models (such as Eva or Karla), 4 1/2 generally refers to a foot length of approximately 24.0cm to 24.5cm. Sizing in 1/4 increments: While many manufacturers offer half (1/2) increments, Karl-Heinz Martin offers very fine sizing in 0.25 (1/4) increments, such as 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 3/4... Fitting guideline: A size 4 1/2 is often chosen by those who wear Japanese street shoes of around 23.5cm to 24.0cm, when wearing pointe pads. ーーーーーーーー Karl-Heinz Martin (K.H.Martin) Ballet Shoes Thank you for looking.
