The SW-T10 is a vacuum tube integrated amplifier from SOUND WARRIOR, an audio brand developed by Jōka Kōgyō. Released in 2009 as the brand's first vacuum tube amplifier, it is now discontinued. Sound Quality: Characterized by the soft, delicate, and warm sound unique to vacuum tubes, it was designed with the aim of providing a sound world that soothes the soul. According to some reviews, it has been praised for its good sound response, described as crisp and clear without being overly rounded. Design: It features a Scandinavian-inspired interior design. Despite its compact size, it is equipped with essential functions, and natural wood is used for the control panel. Functionality: It comes with a rich array of input and output terminals, supporting devices such as record players (compatible with MM cartridges) and portable audio players. It also includes a tone control circuit with shelving characteristics used in professional equipment, and a switch to bypass the circuit for a more direct sound experience. Evaluation: Recommended as an introductory model for vacuum tube amplifiers, it is considered suitable for those who want to casually enjoy high-quality music in relatively small spaces like bedside tables or studies. Although it has low output (maximum 1.6W+1.6W), there are opinions that it delivers high sound quality when paired with efficient speakers. (AI commentary above) I used this unit over 20 years ago and then stored it. I have cleaned it thoroughly for this listing and confirmed that it produces a warm sound. There is no noticeable crackling. Please Note: - The entire unit has been cleaned for this listing. - The box and instruction manual are not included. The photos show everything that is included. It will be packed with bubble wrap and shipped via anonymous Mercari delivery service. - Returns will not be accepted after purchase. Please check the photos for any details of concern or ask questions in the comments before purchasing. I will do my best to answer.
