This is a passive DI for rack mounting. I own two of these and this one was kept as a spare in the rack. My setup was to place it next to the mixer, not on the stage side. It was very useful for dance events, etc., to accommodate various sound sources such as CD players, MD players, samplers, PCs, tablets, and even smartphones (lol). The biggest advantage was that there was no sound processing and it was particularly noiseless. I think those who use digital mixers are particularly sensitive to noise, so I believe you will be satisfied. I am still using the other one I own. I am listing this spare one as I feel I no longer need it. This is a 4-channel passive direct box with XLR connections. - Model: PDB4 - Number of Channels: 4 Channels - Connectors: XLR Input/Output - Attenuator: -20dB/-40dB Switchable - Output Format: Balanced Output - Input Format: Unbalanced Input - Use: Passive Direct Box Thank you for looking.
