HIRAGI OUTFITTERS Something that didn't exist, but should have. DCF Compression. Why didn't the legendary UL brands create this? There are simple waterproof bags made of DCF. But I couldn't find anything that could be tightly compressed. If it doesn't exist, we make it. That's always how it is. A message from BACKSIDE SUMMIT DESIGN I want to compress with DCF. BSD, who doesn't just focus on peak bagging but enjoys the good spots in the mountains using maps. They travel light but don't forget the joy of a campfire. Our outdoor preferences have many commonalities. From BSD, a design sketch arrived with the message, I want to compress with DCF. I see, compression with DCF. I want this too, I replied immediately, and the project began. I want to make it compact along with lightweight. The passion of packing enthusiasts. According to BSD, Sleeping bags and quilts, in their original stuff sacks, take up a significant amount of backpack space on their own. Exactly. Packing enthusiasts seek not only lightness but also compactness. Standard compression bags that sandwich from top and bottom are cumbersome to use. Roll-top types, once rolled, can expand over time and lose compression. We've created something that is not only lightweight but also simple to use and can be tightly compressed. As expected from DCF. Lightweight x Waterproof x Compression. Weight is about half of competing products. DCF is a fabric that does not allow water or air to pass through. High waterproofness is achieved by seam-sealing all stitches with DCF tape. The weight is about half of competing products. This is appealing even to those who aren't strictly UL enthusiasts.
