KT Ginxu Step Bottom Foilboard 46L KT Step Bottom Foilboard 46L This is a step bottom foilboard highly praised by Kai Lenny. Used for 2 seasons (spring-autumn) in prone. The rails are thick, making it durable and water-repellent. It's in good condition with no repair history and has been stored indoors, with only some paint peeling around the track mount. - Volume: 46L - Length: 4'7 - Width: 20 1/2 - Thickness: 4 3/8 - Weight: 4.85 kg - PVC sandwich, carbon monocoque construction - Retail Price: ¥374,000 (tax included) - Accessories: MFC foot straps (unused) Kai Lenny: Since foiling, the biggest change in foilboards has begun. Keith Tabou: The Gincux series represents a new chapter in foilboards for both high-performance riding and entry-level ease of use. We are blown away and continue to get more excited with every ride. The Ginxu's innovative design features the step bottom (patented), which is a cutout across the entire lower rear third of the board, including the foil box. This creates an unprecedented connection to the foil, and in fact, the most direct connection of any foilboard to date. It's like gravity control. In case of touchdown, the rear section and foil are still in the air when the bottom of the board re-contacts the water, so you receive an automatic lift and can take off easily, reducing catches and decelerations that would cause you to get stuck or fall. Most surprisingly, it's incredibly easy to get up and going for the first time because the moment you get a little speed on the water and the board starts to lift off the surface, the foil is already out of the water and flying, creating an ultra-boost and going much faster than conventional designs, even though the front two-thirds of the board's bottom is still in the water.
