Rarely available specimen. This is Chanticleer hackle, which has become extremely scarce in the market in recent years. The unique natural coloration and fibrous texture are clearly different from mass-produced grades. As those who are looking for it know, this is not a material that is stably supplied. ■ The appeal of this material: - Fine, supple fibers with a lifelike quality. - Unique sheen when exposed to light. - Colors that are not flashy but are effective in the water. Ideal for dry flies, spiders, and wet fly hackling. You'll notice the difference the moment you tie with it. A few turns are enough to create a significant presence. No need to over-wrap. It is not easy to obtain this material in this condition today. Listing this as a stock release. No future restocks are planned. For those who have been searching.
