A must-have for fly fishermen! At 2 meters, it offers a high retrieval rate! Also useful for foraging for wild vegetables. ● Maximum Length: 200cm ● Closed Length: 31cm ● Weight: 104 grams This is a telescopic pole with an aluminum hook attached. I'm selling extras of something I've been making and using myself for a while. It's bonded with strong epoxy resin, and further secured by inserting a triangular bracket through a hole that goes through the tip pipe and the aluminum hook. Non-slip tape is wrapped around the hook to prevent slippage when pulling branches closer. It's surprisingly durable and lasts about 2 seasons, but I'm including enough spare tape for 2 re-applications. * While it has considerable strength, excessive force, including on the main body's joints, can lead to detachment or breakage. ● Other Uses / Attic, Wall Crevices, Cable Catcher, Electrical Wire, Wiring, Work, Electrical Installation, Electrician, Electricity, Construction, Wiring, Wire Pulling, A Helper for Solo Work ● Background 35 years of fly fishing experience. Initially, I attached an S-hook to a rope and threw it to snag branches to retrieve my flies, but it was difficult to get the rope to catch on branches. Next, I used a bait fishing rod with a short closed length, but its closed length was always close to 40cm, and when I pulled branches with strong force, the rod would get stuck and couldn't be closed. So, for the past few years, I've been using a pointer stick like this, but I wanted at least 2 meters, and this specification is what I've settled on. Click here for the manufacturer's site
