A long-established British tailor brand Alexandre of England Brand and Label Explanation Alexandre Exclusive: This brand has its roots in London's famous tailoring district, Savile Row, and has over 100 years of history. Tailoring: The A crest and crown design on the label in the image suggest that the brand was once awarded Royal Warrant (Purveyor to the Royal Household of the UK) or was tailored to those quality standards. Shape fast: This phrase refers to interlinings and tailoring techniques that resist losing their shape (Shape retention). Features This brand is known for combining traditional British tailoring with modern styles. Materials: High-quality fabrics such as 100% wool or wool-cashmere blends are often used. Fit: As indicated by Tailored on the label, it features a smart silhouette that follows the body's lines (tailored fit). Currently, vintage items from this brand are traded in the second-hand market as high-quality British-made suits from the 60s and 90s. The size is equivalent to a Japanese size 48 with room around the waist when actually worn.
