Please research it yourself and purchase only if you are satisfied. ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ The SCUBAPRO Signal Float (Model Number: CDE-147) is a safety device used during the safety stop at around 5m depth during ascent in diving, or to signal your position to others on the surface after surfacing. Key features and functions are as follows: Key Product Features High Visibility: Designed in conspicuous colors such as orange, allowing boat captains and other divers to easily identify your position on the water surface. Can be Launched from Underwater: It can be launched from underwater (around 5m depth) during a safety stop, signaling to the boat a diver is here before ascending. Stable Upright Performance: Features weights in the opening or a specially designed bottom shape, making it easy to stand upright even on choppy water surfaces, and easy to spot from a distance. Compact Storage: When not in use, it can be rolled up and stored in a dedicated case or BC pocket, and can be attached to a D-ring for carrying. Basic Usage Preparation Underwater: Upon reaching the safety stop depth (3-6m), take out the float and check that the rope is not tangled. Inflating: Inflate the float from the bottom using the exhaust from your octopus or regulator. Launching: The float will extend towards the surface with the buoyancy of the air. Using a reel (spool) will allow for smoother deployment. Use After Surfacing: After reaching the surface, keeping the float upright will make it easier for the pickup boat to find you.
