This is an all-in-one package that allows you to use the team radio headset used by professional racing teams worldwide with your mobile phone. This pit crew headset is the genuine article used by professional racing teams in Europe and America. The headset itself features a dedicated 5-pin connection port, a waterproof PTT button, and a 3.5mm mini-pin audio input connector. The speakers, completely shielded from the outside world by silicon-sealed earcups, boast home audio-level performance with pleasant sound quality. The microphone, held at mouth level by a wire boom, utilizes a low-gain dynamic microphone originally developed for aviation and military use, featuring high directivity and noise-canceling characteristics. This ensures complete shut-off of the roaring engine noise even next to a race car undergoing engine tuning in the pit, while simultaneously guaranteeing high call quality. Usage is extremely simple: just connect the NEXUS standard IMSA specification pit crew headset to your smartphone using the included cable, and you're ready to go. You can immediately use the same race headset used by professional racing teams worldwide with your mobile phone right out of the box. (Calls on mobile phones are normal two-way conversations, not one-way push-to-talk communication.) Until now, while it was convenient to communicate with the pit during a race, introducing motorsport radio (MoSRA) was too much trouble and cost. Specific low-power radio only allowed communication for a moment in front of the pit. Standard mobile phone + general-purpose hands-free earphone microphones suffered from severe noise and frequent disconnections, with each option having a fatal flaw. However, this package allows you to implement the reliability of a mobile phone and the performance of a genuine racing communication system at a low cost. Please take this opportunity to consider a genuine racing communication system. This product can be used with mobile phones equipped with a 3.5mm earphone microphone jack. Please note that calls are two-way simultaneous communication, similar to hands-free microphones, and there is no PTT transmit ON/OFF function like with a radio. We recommend iPhones for mobile phones compatible with this product. We do not guarantee operation on all manufacturers and all mobile phone models equipped with a 3.5mm earphone microphone jack.
