Looking at the construction of the leg parts and the part where the strings rest, you can see that it is carefully made, making the difference from other manufacturers easy to understand. This is a popular product with the current design that is always out of stock. Height: 11mm String spacing: Approx. 10mm The unique pattern confirms it is made of mammoth ivory, but since it is a design from before Miyako Mokkougei obtained their license and began selling, it may be made of a higher-grade material. Mammoth ivory bridges are also popular products and are always sold out online, so don't miss this chance! The sound is almost indistinguishable from the current products. Reference from Miyako Mokkougei's website. Compared to a regular bamboo bridge, the sharp edges of the high-frequency tones are softened, resulting in an overall mellow sound. The mid-to-low frequencies gain more pressure, creating a deep, warm tone with a long, resonant sustain. When attached to a sanshin with artificial skin or reinforced skin (double-layered), it reduces the artificial buzzing and harshness often heard, transforming the sound into a soft tone reminiscent of natural skin. The sustain of this soft tone then extends beautifully. However, it is not well-suited for sanshin with naturally soft-tensioned skin or single-layered natural skin with 50-70% tension. The mid-to-low frequencies can become overly emphasized, resulting in a very unique sound. Normally, commercially available bridges have two legs, but this one has a [four-leg] design, allowing it to be placed on either side and providing excellent stability.
