Product details This is a Makabi-style sanshin crafted by master craftsman Seibun Nagamine, a certified Okinawan craftsperson and a national traditional craftsman.

This is a genuine piece that I received directly from Master Nagamine 12 years ago when I was studying under him, and he presented it to me as a lifelong treasure for 400,000 yen. I am now listing it for sale to someone who will cherish it.
Due to the pandemic, my lessons with the master have ceased, and I no longer play the instrument myself, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will play it with care.

There is a slight scratch, as shown in the last photo.

    [Features of this item]

Craftsman: Traditional Craftsman Seibun Nagamine (Urasoe City, Nagamine Sanshin Shop)

Style: Makabi. Characterized by the elegant, slender, and beautiful lines typical of Nagamine's work.

Neck Material: High-quality wood (Kuroki/Kamigen) with a glossy black finish, known for its hardness and excellent resonance.

Skin: Genuine snake skin (Nishikigami). Beautiful pattern and firm tension.

Tigar (Body Wrap): Features the original emblem of Nagamine's workshop. Made of Basho-fu (banana fiber textile).

    [Condition]

It has been handled with care and is in very clean condition overall, with some minor scratches.
Please only purchase if you understand and accept this.
Regarding the engraving on the core, to maintain the exquisite craftsmanship and prevent damage from amateur disassembly (such as breaking the tuning pegs), I have deliberately not disassembled it. As I purchased it directly from the master, I can guarantee its authenticity.

    [Sound Quality]

It possesses the unique, soft yet resonant, and clear, far-reaching sound characteristic of Nagamine's sanshin.
*A video of the sound is available on Yahoo Flea Market. If you are interested, please search by the title.

    [Accessories]

・Hard case: The condition is not perfect, but it is usable.
    ・Bachi (Plectrum): Two included.
    ・Spare strings
    ・Tuner (please check the photos)

Please note that values are subjective, so those who are overly sensitive or seeking perfection should refrain from purchasing.
