This artificial skin sanshin is recommended for those who want to start playing the sanshin or try it out, as it has no skin tears and is maintenance-free. It comes with 13 essential items, including a tutorial book, DVD, tuner, water buffalo pick, and soft case. The reason for the significant discount is a paint chip near the tuning peg hole of the 3rd string (see 7th photo). This does not affect the sound at all, so we believe it is a great bargain for those who don't mind it. Please feel free to contact us if you are looking for a single item or an outlet product with reinforced real skin. Please note that this is a display item, and the price listed is for one unit only. Please consider the specifications below. ■ Shaft Material: Chun Wood ■ Shaft Type: Makabe-gata (Makabi) ■ Shaft Finish: Black Lacquer ■ Body: Artificial Skin ■ Skin Tension: 80% (Standard) ■ Tuning Pegs: Ebony Hexagonal Tuning Pegs ■ Body Wrap: Basic, Left Royal Crest Pattern ■ Strings: No. 2 Okinawa Strings (Tetoron Material) ■ Bridge: Sturdy Ebony Bridge ■ String Fastener: Basic, Gold Click here for the manufacturer's site
