Product Details This is a compatible magnetic oil for the Magshield installed in Daiwa spinning reels. ・Made in Japan for peace of mind. ・Unlike inexpensive isoparaffin types, this is an alkylnaphthalene-based magnetic fluid with low volatility and excellent dustproof and waterproof sealing properties. ・Magnetic fluids can be broadly divided into water-based types, isoparaffin types often used in scientific experiments and speakers, alkylnaphthalene types which are slightly more expensive but have excellent sealing properties and are less volatile, and fluorine types with excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and sealing properties. This product is a high-quality industrial magnetic fluid of the alkylnaphthalene type, which is said to be optimal for mag oil. ・I myself have tried various mag oils sold on Yahoo Auctions, Amazon, etc., but while the sealing properties were acceptable, there were issues with volatility, and in all cases, they evaporated within a year, and in some cases, as early as 3 months if left in a car during the summer. Although both products claimed to be high quality, the ingredients were not listed, and they were likely isoparaffin types. For those looking for mag oil, we strongly recommend first confirming with the seller whether it is an alkylnaphthalene type or an isoparaffin type! If it is an isoparaffin type or if a clear answer cannot be obtained, it is best to refrain from purchasing! There is a high probability that it is an inexpensive isoparaffin type. This product is 100% made in Japan. This is a high-quality magnetic fluid manufactured by a manufacturer in Kanagawa Prefecture. This product cannot be obtained by individuals. We have an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), so please check the images for details. ・The viscosity is very low, so the rotation is smooth and reeling is effortless. ・Volatility is very low and durability is excellent. ・0.5ml content allows for generous use. ・Comes in a bottle with a dropper. *The bottle capacity is 1ml, so it is only half full, but this is not an error, so please understand.
