Immediate purchase is welcome. (These two books originally cost ¥2780.) Koguma Publishing *It is believed that these books do not come with a cover. ① Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves List Price ¥1130 April 1990, 6th printing. ② Aladdin and the Magic Lamp List Price ¥1650 August 2001, 5th printing. Written by: Noboru Baba Height 26 x Width 18.5 cm, 56 pages *About the stories* ① This is a retelling of the famous Arabian Nights tale, Open Sesame!, preserving the original story's development. The beautiful Turkish blue-toned illustrations and Baba's engaging, fast-paced storytelling are captivating ♡. ② Aladdin obtains an old lamp with the help of a suspicious man claiming to be his uncle. This lamp, when rubbed, summons a genie who grants any wish. A thrilling battle for the lamp ensues ♡. I am organizing my personal collection, which I have gathered over many years while volunteering for read-aloud sessions with children. These two books have many pages and were not suitable for read-aloud sessions with limited time, so I enjoyed them for my own pleasure in Baba's world ♡. I purchased them used from a secondhand bookstore. While there are age-related stains on the page edges and endpapers, there is no significant damage. Considering Ali Baba is 35 years old, its condition is quite good. I wish I could keep all these picture books, but I must reluctantly part with them (´TωT`). I hope to pass them on to someone who understands that they are used items kept in personal storage, for use with children at home, or for those involved in read-aloud activities like myself (*・∀・*). I cannot accommodate holds or price reductions. Click here for the manufacturer's site
