Daiwa Gotensei 15-shaku I purchased four rods of this model, one for each length, shortly after its release around 1995. I remember test fishing with them at Mizumo in Osaka Prefecture and Bunsen Pond in Nara, and also using them at a dam in Nara. I recall that the feeling of the fight was very good. I believe this rod is from Daiwa's golden age of carbon rods, alongside models like Araboshi, Onimusha, and Rokkasen. I am now 68 years old and haven't held a fishing rod for the past 16-17 years. In recent years, I have sold off most of the many rods I owned. I stored this rod for a long time, but I cannot find the rod bag or the end cap anywhere. I am using a substitute for the end cap. As this is a used rod from nearly 30 years ago, there is some age-related deterioration, but I believe it is in good condition. There are no cracks and no noticeable scratches that are easily visible. (Please refer to the photos.) Since the original rod bag is missing, I have placed it in a 15-shaku rod bag from Yagose, which fits perfectly. As a bonus, I will also include a dyed rod bag that I received from Master Kageshu. (Please refer to the photos.) If you are a Daiwa rod fan and would like this rod, I would be honored to have you consider it. Click here for the manufacturer's site
