Used market price: Approx. ¥500,000 (tax included, shipping not included) (as of 2025) *Even if tuned, re-tuning is generally required within one month of arrival. Original list price: ¥535,600 (tax included, shipping not included) (1990-1994) YAMAHA Upright Piano, Made in Japan MC1AWnC Year: 1992 Finish: American Walnut, Open Pore Keytops: Acripet (White Keys), Phenol (Black Keys) Style: Chippendale / Cabriole Legs Pedals: 3 Dimensions: H121cm / W150cm / D61cm / Weight: 208kg Note: No soft-landing pedal or silent function. Includes: Bench, Top Cover, Keyboard Cover, Insulators This is a standard model from the Modern Console series. Its simple design, which does not feel oppressive, is complemented by the stylish brown color with wood grain and cabriole legs. The open pore finish enhances the natural texture of the wood, making it a great fit for any interior, despite its deep color. The combination of semi-matte walnut finish and cabriole legs is rare in current models, and the 121cm height is only available on the used market. Highly recommended for those looking for a wood-grain piano. Features semi-underfelt hammers for YAMAHA's signature bright tone. ★Usage History Purchased new from YAMAHA store in 1993. Played for several hours daily until 2005. Frequency gradually decreased, currently rarely used. Played frequently for approximately one year in 2020. No moving history. ★Tuning Tuned once annually until 2000, then not tuned. Pitch deviation noted in 2020 (2 locations, based on my perception). Pitch deviation currently present (imperceptible to family and acquaintances). Some notes sound slightly doubled currently (1 location). ★Operation All keys produce sound. All key actions are normal. All 3 pedals function normally. Tone quality is excellent (subjective opinion of myself and a pianist acquaintance). ★Interior As this is a professional matter, answers are limited to what a non-expert can observe. The back of the piano is against the wall, so the back cannot be inspected. Visual inspection from the top and front bottom: Slightly dusty (cleaner than expected). No noticeable odors. Cat present until 2000 (litter box kept outside). Smoking occurred for only one year. *Dehumidifier replaced in March 2025. *Basic cleaning has been performed with utmost care within the scope of what a non-expert can do for both interior and exterior. ★Exterior All included accessories show signs of age-related use, changes, and damage such as dust, scratches, and dirt. Images and descriptions may be updated when dirt is removed or new noticeable damage is discovered. ★Shipping Please arrange shipping at your own expense. (Active Rize's approximate costs can be found on their official website.) *For nearby areas: 239-0822 / 1st floor / Truck can park alongside. *For shipping accidents, please contact the shipping company directly.
