This is the KONICA III (released in 1956), a masterpiece of classic rangefinder cameras. A high-end model that Konica was proud of, featuring a robust metal body and the renowned Hexanon lens. The unique trigger-style winding lever offers an unparalleled operational feel and charm. ■ Main Features Lens: Hexanon 48mm F2 Sharp with excellent clarity, it delivers soft rendering at wide apertures and high resolution and contrast when stopped down. Viewfinder: Rangefinder system (coincidence type) allows for precise focusing. Exterior: A sturdy and luxurious build with a die-cast metal body. ■ Condition *Precise accuracy, including shutter speeds, has not been measured due to the lack of specialized equipment. - The tip of the aperture adjustment lever is missing (broken off). (This does not affect usability.) Exposure Meter: Operates normally. Film Winding: Trigger lever operates smoothly. Self-Timer: Operation confirmed. Viewfinder: Dust present due to age, but visibility is good. Lens: Minor dust particles are present, but there are no significant haze or fungus, and it is clear. Exterior: Minor scuffs consistent with age, but no noticeable damage, and overall in good condition. ■ The Appeal of Film Cameras This camera allows you to enjoy the soft rendering, rich tonal gradations, and unique color reproduction characteristic of film. The operational experience unique to mechanical cameras, such as the shutter sound and winding feel, turns photography into the creation of art. Its classical design also holds significant value as a collectible. ■ Shipping The item will be carefully packed with cushioning material for shipping. *Shipping may not be available on Sundays.
