Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless even if swallowed. The bark is peeled one by one from pear branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years. *Measured with a moisture meter, moisture content is approximately 0%. As these are amateur handmade items, although we use a chainsaw for cutting and a belt sander (file) for the small branches, please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying. Since it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no danger of injuring their mouths. However, please supervise your pet while they play.
