Thank you for viewing my product among many others. I would like to introduce a handmade wooden bench/veranda bench that I have created. I thought it would be convenient to have a small storage shelf at the bottom (which also functions as a fixture). (The lower shelf is made of cypress.) - Material: Wood (innocence's domestic cedar) - Design: Slat design - Storage Shelf: Fixture - Fastening: Secured with m8 (electrolytic zinc plating) Dimensions Width: 950mm Depth: 450mm Height: 415mm The top boards are a substantial 28mm thick (surfaces planed) for durability and long-lasting use. (To reduce shipping costs, this product is designed for assembly.) Assembly requires a 13mm wrench. Bolts are M8 x 8 locations (includes bolts, nuts, and flat washers). The hardware alone cost approximately 1000 yen. The finish is three coats of clear oil-based urethane varnish for floors, applied on separate days. As it will likely be exposed to sunlight and rain outdoors, I applied an oil-based finish for excellent weather and corrosion resistance. (However, maintenance will be required about once a year.) I believe the finish provides a beautiful sheen and gloss. The coating is hard and should be long-lasting. It will change color slightly over time, which I personally find beautiful. As this is a handmade item, there may be some knots. I have done my best to plane the wood, round the edges (bullnose), and sand it (100 and 400 grit). However, due to natural aging, the wood may shrink, creating gaps. If you are seeking perfection or are particularly sensitive, this item may not meet your expectations, so please consider this before purchasing. I have also included photos of the product during its construction. I wanted you to see the quality of the wood after planing and sanding, and to appreciate the use of good materials. I sincerely hope to connect with someone who will carefully examine the photos and appreciate the cost-performance in terms of materials and labor. Shipping to remote islands requires consultation. Shipping costs to Hokkaido and Okinawa will be higher. Regarding discounts, due to the rising cost of materials and paints, and significant inflation, I am unable to offer any discounts.
