This is a 2-cup capacity rice cooker. It cooks rice thoroughly, just like it's cooked in a donabe (earthenware pot), and I've taken great care of it. There are no noticeable scratches, but as this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about such things. It will be shipped using recycled cardboard. [Product Specifications] Kamado-san 2-cup capacity ■Size: 2-3 people (φ21.5×h14cm / 1200ml / 3kg) [The Secret to Kamado-san's Delicious Rice] The coarse Iga clay breathes like a wooden rice bin, preventing rice from becoming sticky. The glaze has a high far-infrared effect, resulting in fluffy rice cooked to the core. [Thick Walls for Effortless Cooking] The direct flame area has a thick-walled construction. It retains heat well and transfers it gently, allowing you to cook delicious rice without adjusting the heat. It also has excellent heat retention. Kamado-san naturally achieves the traditional rice-cooking saying: Start slow, then medium, don't lift the lid even if the baby cries. [No Overflow with Double Lid] The heavy inner and outer lids function like a pressure cooker, preventing overflow. Rice cooked under pressure becomes sweeter, and since there's no overflow, it's also hassle-free. This structure is designed to make daily rice cooking easy and delicious. [Steaming Pot with Ceramic Strainer] When combined with the separately sold Ceramic Strainer, it can also be used as a donabe for steaming dishes. The far-infrared effect of the donabe shortens steaming time and results in delicious steamed dishes. [Recommended Cooking Amount] Can cook 2 cups of rice. For mixed rice (takikomi gohan), as ingredients are added, it is recommended to reduce the rice to 1 cup and cook with plenty of room.
