This is a 100% wool petticoat/underskirt with a built-in belly warmer. It uses high-quality wool that is smooth, low-pilling, and not itchy. The evenly knit fabric is very beautiful, supple, and stretchy. With a thin, slightly sheer thickness like a cardigan, it provides discreet and effective warmth without adding bulk. The color is a gentle off-white, so it's safe even if it peeks out. While it's likely intended as a kimono underskirt, it can also be worn under long skirts, dresses, or nightgowns. The knit fabric is stretchy, so it fits snugly to your body, posture, and movements, providing excellent warmth and comfort. The hem has slits for easy leg movement. Because it's stretchy, when using the restroom, you can easily and quickly lift up the underskirt along with your outer garment, making it very convenient. The size is M, but the elastic waistband can be replaced, allowing for size adjustments and long-term use. Made of 100% wool, it offers excellent insulation, good moisture absorption and breathability, and also has deodorizing effects, and the material is less prone to static electricity. Due to the wool's inherent stain-resistant and odor-resistant properties, frequent washing is unnecessary; simply brush it lightly after wearing. Wash it when you no longer feel the warmth or if it feels heavy. It may have been a common item in the past, but it's rarely seen now, and I believe it's one of the disappearing treasures of Japan. It appears to be unworn, with no damage or stains from wear. However, it seems to have been stored outside of its original packaging, and there are some light brown stains, possibly from glue, around the hem (Photos 4-6). Please understand this beforehand. The color may appear different depending on your monitor. This item has been stored in a private home without smoking, pets, or the use of perfume/fabric softener. As there are individual differences in perception, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details.
