☺ Overhauled and guaranteed to be in working order ☺ ★★★ Genuine Product - Authenticity Guaranteed ★★★ This item was sourced from an antique market, accessible only to those with a second-hand dealer's license, by my family's watch shop. I personally purchased it from them and am now listing it. All watches undergo overhaul and maintenance, with internal components meticulously inspected, so you can be 100% confident in their authenticity. This is a vintage OMEGA DE VILLE ladies' watch, a gold-plated model. It features a flush-surface design where the lugs and bezel are seamlessly integrated, with minimal height difference from the crystal. The solid, high-quality case exudes a sense of luxury. Its compact and slim profile, unusual for a mechanical watch, makes it very comfortable to wear. The movement is manual wind. The case is yellow gold plated. The dial is matte silver with delicate vertical hairline finishing, giving it a rich texture. The dial is something you look at many times a day, so noticeable dirt or age-related deterioration can become bothersome later on. Choosing a watch with a clean dial from the start will definitely prevent regret. The crystal is made of sapphire glass, similar to popular cut glass, making it highly resistant to scratches even with slightly rough handling, thus preserving its beautiful face for many years. The leather strap is a black embossed model. The buckle is an original OMEGA part. Measured with a timegrapher, the watch's daily error is around +5 seconds, indicating high precision. The case measures approximately 19.5 mm in width (excluding the crown). You will surely be surprised by its overwhelmingly excellent condition, which is rarely seen even in specialized shops. ★ Mechanical watches powered by winding the spring require regular overhauls (disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication) because the lifespan of the lubricating oil inside is limited. Mechanical watches operate by the strong power of the unwinding spring, which drives small gears. The balance wheel, the heart of the watch, oscillates approximately 20,000 times per hour. It's easy to imagine the strain placed on a mechanical watch when used without lubrication. Using a mechanical watch that hasn't been serviced for many years is, in an extreme analogy, like driving a dilapidated car that has been left unattended for years without maintenance, simply by putting gasoline in it.
