Product Description ■Succulent Soil (Fine-grained type) This soil mix is formulated for succulents such as Agave, Echeveria, Haworthia, and general succulent plants. Depending on the type and cultivation method, this fine-grained type is suitable for pots up to size 3. ■Contents: Approx. 2 liters / Approx. 1.3 kg ■About the Soil Components Soils suitable for succulents are said to have: ?High drainage ?High aeration ?Slightly acidic pH This mix prioritizes drainage and is composed of the following 5 types of soil: 【Hard Akadama Soil (Fine-grained)】 A slightly acidic soil with high aeration, drainage, and water retention. Being a hard type, the particles are less likely to break down. 【Hyuga Stone (Fine-grained)】 A horticultural soil with high aeration and drainage. Its hard particles with numerous pores ensure excellent aeration and drainage. 【Hard Kanuma Soil (Fine-grained)】 An acidic soil with high aeration, drainage, and water retention. Being a hard type, the particles are less likely to break down. 【Vermiculite】 This is crushed mica that has been heated at high temperatures. A neutral soil with high drainage and water retention. 【Rice Husk Charcoal (Homemade)】 Added in a small amount to neutralize the acidity of the Kanuma soil and maintain a slightly acidic pH. ■Additional Information This soil has very little nutritional value, so it is recommended to mix in an appropriate amount of fertilizer like Magamp K. Due to its emphasis on drainage, it dries out easily. Adding compost or other organic matter will increase water retention. Images 6-9 show how I use it at home as a reference for particle size. At home, I use a ratio of 9 parts of this custom mix to 1 part of compost from a 100-yen shop. It will be packed in a resealable bag and shipped in a dedicated box or a plastic bag.
