This is a vintage standing ashtray made by Maruni Wood Industry (maruni), a long-established furniture manufacturer representing Japan. This is a rare and highly designed piece, combining a heavy wooden pillar with an iron ashtray holder featuring a ship's wheel motif. It exudes an overwhelming presence, perfect for mid-century interiors, cafe-style decor, garage displays, or even as store fixtures. [Product Condition] As this is a very old vintage item, there are signs of use commensurate with its age throughout. - Rust is visible on the metal parts of the ashtray and the lid (the wheel part). - The wooden parts have minor scuffs, scratches, and dirt. - The parts are designed to be disassembled (see photos). To preserve its original character, this item will be listed after only a simple cleaning. Recommended for those who appreciate the character unique to old items and enjoy the characteristics of antiques. [Size] Height: 55cm Top Diameter: 21cm Bottom Diameter: 25cm *Please note that these are amateur measurements, so slight errors may occur. [Details] Brand: maruni (Maruni Wood Industry) Country of Origin: Japan (Hiroshima) Materials: Wood, Metal (Iron) [Shipping and Packaging] To prevent damage, the item will be carefully protected with cushioning material and shipped using recycled cardboard or similar packaging. [Notes] - All items shown in the photos are included. - Please understand that this is a used vintage item before purchasing. - As this is an amateur inspection, minor scratches or dirt may have been overlooked. Please be aware of this in advance. - The actual color may differ from the image due to lighting conditions. #maruni #マルニ木工 #ヴィンテージ家具 #スタンド灰皿 #アンティーク #昭和レトロ #ミッドセンチュリー #店舗什器 #古道具 #希少 Click here for the manufacturer's site
