[Product Name] Calligraphy Paper - Funren Ko (Zenshi) - 50 Sheets [Quantity] 50 Sheets (Half Roll) [Size] Zenshi (Approx. 135cm x 70cm) *Please note that as this is a handmade vintage paper, slight variations of a few millimeters may occur. ??Product Condition & Features This is a rare, traditional Chinese handmade Tang paper (Funren Ko) manufactured over 30 years ago. It is karegami (aged paper) that has been carefully stored for many years. A Vintage Texture Developed Over Time Unlike crisp, white new paper, this paper offers a unique aged character, excellent ink absorption, and the potential for deep nijimi (bleeding) and kasure (dry brush) effects. Regarding the Black Specks on the Paper Surface You may notice fine black specks or plant fibers on the paper's surface. These are natural remnants of plant fibers like bamboo and straw, the main ingredients in handmade Funren Tang paper. They are not mold or recent stains but are characteristic of high-quality Tang paper made with traditional methods, so you can use it with confidence. In fact, these elements contribute to the unique, deep character (ink wash) of your artwork. Condition of Outer Packaging As this is an old item, the outer packaging paper has tears and stains due to age (please refer to the images). The paper itself has been stored without significant damage. ??Market Price and This Listing's Price In recent years, high-quality Tang paper (aged paper) from that era has become very expensive in the market, currently trading around ￥25,000 per roll (100 sheets). This listing is for a half roll (50 sheets), making it especially recommended for those who want to try out high-quality vintage aged paper in smaller quantities or for use in their artwork. ??Please Read Before Purchasing (Important) We kindly ask that only those who understand that this is an old item (vintage aged paper) over 30 years old and who accept the unique characteristics of antiques (age-related stains, wrinkles, distinct odors, etc.) make a purchase. Individuals seeking perfect, like-new quality or those who are particularly sensitive should refrain from purchasing. If you are concerned about age-related deterioration, please do not purchase. ??Shipping Method To prevent damage to the paper, it will be carefully packaged and shipped after being gently rolled or folded, with measures taken to protect it from moisture. #Calligraphy #Gassen-shi #Zenshi #Funren #AgedPaper #TangPaper #CalligraphyPaper #Vintage #Antique #Retro #Handmade Click here for the manufacturer's site
