No discounts accepted. THANN is a natural skincare brand from the Kingdom of Thailand, also known as the Land of Smiles. It was founded in 2002 by Tony Spathranon, a Thai national. The brand's concept is to create items that utilize natural ingredients to improve the health and beauty of people living in modern society, while also aiming to restore mind-body balance. I personally value the founder's, producers', and brand's intentions, philosophies, and policies over trends when choosing products. This is one of those items, from a brand I trust. Tony originally came from a completely different field, having studied engineering and then obtained an MBA. However, the inspiration for founding the company came during his time at a major food manufacturer in Australia after graduation. While handling plant-based foods, he wanted to utilize the raw ingredients in cosmetics. In Europe, olive oil is used not only for cooking but also in soaps and creams. Lavender can be drunk as herbal tea or used as an essential oil for massage. He decided to apply this concept to Thai plants from his hometown. Thailand has a tradition of steaming various herbs for massage, known as herbal balls, and there is no shortage of raw materials as many plants grow wild. All products are rich in the blessings of plant-derived ingredients, and the brand has gained significant support, now operating stores in 15 countries worldwide and being used as amenities in various facilities such as Park Hotel, ANA, Kagaya, and Marriott. I spend my New Year holidays in Thailand every year, and this spa is a must-visit. The massage, performed by therapists with ample time, is an exquisite experience. The energy that emanates from my body afterward makes me truly feel the greatness of nature, as if I have absorbed the power of plants. This is a body butter blended with Damask rose, jasmine, tuberose, orange, bergamot, and other ingredients. Simply massage this rich-textured cream into your skin for a supple finish. The balance of floral and fruity scents is exquisite. Purchased in March and stored in a cool, dark place at home, but please note that this is personal storage.
