Limited-time sale! Genuine Yamato Narutaki Natural Whetstone, Extra Large 20-cut, Single Selection Price negotiation welcome! [Product & Size] Front: Approx. 22 cm (height) x 8.0 cm (width) Right Side: Approx. 7.0 cm (thickness) Left Side: Approx. 7.3 cm (thickness) Weight: 3.2 kg *Please check the photos for any scratches or imperfections. [Shipping] This is a heavy item, but as it is a valuable piece, I will pack it securely for shipping to ensure peace of mind for both parties. [Other] This stone was purchased from a whetstone manufacturer in Kyoto. I was introduced to them by Aritsugu, a famous knife maker in Nishiki Market, and they kindly called ahead for me. There was a cut section of this stone, and I was allowed to try sharpening with it. Regarding the feel of sharpening, I tried sharpening small items such as kiridashi knives, chisels, and plane blades that I brought with me. Modern Japanese knives are made of materials like Yasuki steel and have very high hardness, so I purchased this stone because it has a soft feel when sharpening but still effectively grinds (sharpens). Please refer to the images for other details. *If you have any requests, I will add more images. Please specify clearly how you would like them taken, using the front view as a reference. [Reason for Selling] About 30 years ago, it was already difficult to obtain my own hand tools. I searched for and purchased them at that time, thinking that it would become even more difficult to obtain them in the future. I bought them in bulk with the intention of opening my own hand tool shop when I could no longer work or when I retired. I would like to pass this on to someone who will actually use it.
