This is a riders jacket from Orchard, a long-established American brand that manufactures total leather wear, including biker, military, and western styles. It is a highly regarded leather brand in the United States, known for producing high-quality leather wear, as evidenced by their past contract to manufacture for AVIREX in the 1980s. This particular model is a so-called policeman jacket with lace-up sides. The body is made of ultra-thick, heavyweight leather, even more substantial than that used by the popular leather brand VANSON, resulting in a very weighty garment. Furthermore, this is a rare complete set, featuring the original acrylic boa liner and a real mouton collar boa. Many used items are missing their liners, so a complete set with both an acrylic boa liner and a mouton collar boa is truly a miracle find. The collar boa is made of the finest real mouton and is black. The boa is detachable, allowing you to adjust it according to the season and occasion. All metal parts, such as zippers and snap buttons, are made of gold-plated brass. Even with similar riders jackets, the difference in parts significantly alters the overall appearance. Moreover, brass parts are not only aesthetically pleasing but also more durable than aluminum parts and develop a unique patina with age. The condition is beautiful used, with typical scuffs and wrinkles characteristic of vintage leather materials, but no significant damage. The belt loops on the waist have been professionally removed by a tailor, but this should not be an issue for those accustomed to vintage clothing.
