# Click here for Mercari's Stag Beetle & Rhinoceros Beetle Product List! This listing is for Special Selection! 3rd Fermentation! Himalayan Oyster Mushroom Premium Fermented Mat, packed with nutrients to help rhinoceros beetle larvae grow to enormous sizes. 100 Liters (10 Liters x 10 Bags) Additional quantities can be arranged. Comes in resealable bags for convenient storage. Photos of 20 items are included. This is a fermented substrate mat made from 100% oak sawdust, which rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles prefer most, and finished with the highest quality Himalayan Oyster Mushroom mycelium. This is a special premium mat that further refines ordinary Himalayan Oyster Mushroom mat into finer particles for easier consumption, and contains 3 times the usual amount of special amino acids like trehalose, glucose, chitosan, and royal jelly, as well as symbiotic bacteria. We use no recycled substrate and have meticulously undergone 3rd fermentation, taking time and effort to create this ultimate,こだわりのマット (kodawari no matto - meticulously crafted mat). Since the new substrate is fermented indoors, there is a 100% guarantee of no mixed-in pests. We've had a high repeat customer rate thanks to the consistently large individuals being produced. Even with the same substrate, those finished with Himalayan Oyster Mushroom mycelium are most preferred by stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles, leading to larger individuals. Himalayan Oyster Mushrooms are expensive and difficult to obtain. Can be used as food for the larvae of all types of domestic and foreign rhinoceros beetles, as well as for egg-laying substrate. Not only Hercules and Caucasus, but domestic species also grow to enormous sizes. Hercules have successfully emerged at 180mm. Many domestic species have emerged at 87mm. The key to raising large adult insects is to feed the larvae plenty of high-quality food during their larval stage. This high-calorie, nutrient-rich fermented substrate mat is the pinnacle of larval food. 90% repeat purchase rate. We are receiving a surge of orders, drawing attention from insect shops and specialty stores nationwide. We've received positive feedback that it doesn't attract fruit flies, mites, or other pests. The larvae's feeding response is different, allowing you to aim for super-sized adults. I have been involved in raising stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles for over 20 years and have researched various substrates. Through trial and error, the 3rd fermented Himalayan Oyster Mushroom fermented mat resulted in the largest and healthiest growth. When used as an egg-laying substrate, females lay a large number of eggs. Some users of this fermented mat have won top prizes multiple times in Be-Kuwa contests. Recommended for Miyama and Antaeus beetles as well. With 3 times the usual amount of nutritional additives like amino acids, you can aim for Guinness World Record sizes. Separate shipping fees apply for remote islands in Okinawa. Click here for the manufacturer's site
