Santa Maria Novella was born in Florence, Italy, with a history dating back to the 13th century. It is said to have originated from monks cultivating and blending herbs and flowers to heal people. This monastery later became the Santa Maria Novella Church. Even after becoming a brand favored by royalty and nobility who built Florence's prosperity, including Napoleon, the methods developed by the monks have been inherited, and products are still produced based on the original recipes. While state-of-the-art equipment is introduced in their own factory, some products are still made by hand, one by one, even today. The Italian flagship store has a grand and overwhelming presence, with a fantastical interior displaying a wide variety of products, which is truly impressive. You can spend a whole day there without getting bored, filled with a sense of happiness. Each visit, I am deeply impressed not only by the staff's knowledge but also by their passion for the company and their profound understanding of its history. All products, made with a commitment to natural ingredients, exude warmth. Because they use naturally cultivated herbs and natural oils, there can be individual differences in scent strength and color intensity due to climate, soil, and the quality of the flowers, which is rare in this day and age. For this very reason, I strongly feel that this brand should continue to exist for a long time. This is an aroma candle with a gentle scent of orange, lavender, and rosemary, enhanced by a sharp, spicy touch of cinnamon. As the name Relax suggests, a rich aroma fills the room along with a warm, gentle glow. The way the impression changes with temperature and humidity is also part of the candle's charm. Furthermore, the soft light seems to bring a sense of calm to the hustle and bustle of daily life, simply by gazing at it. It's perfect as a companion for those moments of peace, however brief, in your day. I store it in a cool, dark place at home, but it is still personal storage. I would be delighted if those who do not mind this aspect would be interested. Click here for the manufacturer's site
