This is a miniature glass art object (figurine) of a kiwi (New Zealand's national bird). - About the Kiwi (Bird) - The kiwi, New Zealand's national bird, is an extremely unique bird that has evolved to be so close to mammals that it defies common sense for birds. Instead of wings, which have completely atrophied, rendering them flightless, they possess an astonishing sense of smell and strong leg power. They also lay eggs that are among the largest in the world relative to their body weight, weighing approximately 20-25% of their body weight (equivalent to more than 6 chicken eggs), boasting a one-of-a-kind ecology. With the passing of the last kiwi at Tennoji Zoo in Osaka in 2024, the captive breeding of kiwis has ceased in Japan. Therefore, it is currently impossible to see a live kiwi in Japan. I have listed this item as No noticeable scratches or dirt due to decluttering my room. Main body: Approx. D 2.5 x W 7 x H 4 cm D: Depth, W: Width, H: Height The beak and both feet are accented with gold leaf, while the rest is clear glass. *The body is made entirely of highly transparent crystal glass and is not hollow. Photography equipment such as stands are not included in the product. All other items shown in the photos are included. We will ship via anonymous delivery. Thank you for viewing until the end.
